Samsung is working on new battery technology

This time Samsung is working hard on battery manufacturing technology, a field where other companies have made significant progress in recent years, but Samsung is somewhat behind.

The company is taking a long and safe path towards battery development. Because a few years ago, several Samsung smart phone batteries were affected by accidents, Samsung will now release new battery technology. Perhaps because of the safe method, Samsung uses silicon carbon battery technology for all Samsung models of mobile devices, including the Galaxy S25 Edge. Basically, a silicon carbon battery is lithium-ion based but replaces the graphite anode with silicon carbon.
